What Wharton's Jelly Is

Wharton's jelly is the connective tissue matrix of the human umbilical cord — a structurally rich, hydrated extracellular environment present at the peak of biological development. It is not a signalling product. It is the architecture within which signalling occurs.

Wharton's jelly formulations are classified by total tissue content, concentration and format — not by potency or hierarchy. Two formulations may share a concentration and differ only in volume. Each configuration serves a distinct structural context. Selection is determined by the tissue environment being addressed.

WJ-75 is configured for broad matrix distribution across larger surface-level tissue environments. Its lower concentration across a greater volume makes it the appropriate selection when extracellular matrix presence is desired across an expanded area rather than concentrated at a single site.

Provided as pure Wharton's jelly in frozen format — not lyophilised, not combined with exosomes or conditioned media, and not chemically modified. The matrix is preserved as close to its native state as possible.

These components form the native connective tissue architecture present within the umbilical cord environment. They are not added — they are inherent to Wharton's jelly as a biological material. Their presence provides the hydration, viscoelasticity, and structural scaffolding characteristics of young connective tissue.
Broad surface-level tissue environments. Larger area matrix coverage. Lower concentration distribution contexts. Surface-interface structural support.

WJ-95 is the only lyophilised formulation within the RENOVÓ Wharton's jelly series — a format that allows controlled reconstitution prior to placement, enabling more precise matrix delivery in environments where concentrated extracellular matrix presence is desired in a smaller area. Because it is supplied as a powder, its concentration is set by the practitioner at reconstitution rather than fixed at fill.

As the entry formulation of the series, WJ-95 provides a stable, transportable option for contexts where the flexibility of lyophilisation is clinically advantageous. Its matrix is reconstituted before placement; RENOVÓ does not claim that reconstitution restores the native state of the tissue.

Lyophilisation preserves the matrix component profile of native Wharton's jelly while providing stability advantages for storage and transport. Lyophilisation removes water without chemical modification of the matrix, and reconstitution returns the material to a placeable form. RENOVÓ does not assert that native viscoelasticity is fully recovered.
Small area concentrated matrix placement. Contexts requiring reconstitution flexibility. Controlled structural delivery environments. Entry-level Wharton's jelly application.

WJ-150 provides double the matrix content of WJ-75 within a significantly smaller delivery volume — 150 mg in 1 mL, a concentration of 150 mg/mL. It is the appropriate selection when concentrated extracellular matrix presence is required in a targeted area rather than distributed across a broader surface.

Its frozen format preserves the native matrix structure and hydration characteristics of Wharton's jelly without the reconstitution step required for WJ-95. Pure matrix, concentrated, in a format that maintains the tissue's inherent biological architecture.

At 150 mg/mL, the matrix component concentration is six times that of WJ-75, providing a more substantial structural presence within a targeted tissue environment. WJ-300 is supplied at this same concentration in a larger volume. The frozen format holds the matrix without chemical modification and without a reconstitution step.
Concentrated matrix placement. Targeted connective tissue environments. Higher concentration structural support contexts. Contexts where dense connective tissue matrix is the material of interest. Site selection is the practitioner's determination.

WJ-300 is the largest-volume formulation of the RENOVÓ Wharton's jelly series — 300 mg of tissue in 2 mL, a concentration of 150 mg/mL identical to WJ-150. What distinguishes it is not density but reach: double the total tissue content across double the volume, for environments where a greater extent of matrix presence is appropriate.

Like all Wharton's jelly formulations within the RENOVÓ platform, WJ-300 contains pure tissue — not lyophilised, not combined with other biological categories, and not chemically modified. Its classification is based entirely on total tissue content and volume rather than concentration, signalling density or potency.

WJ-300 provides the most extensive extracellular matrix environment within the RENOVÓ platform. Both the structural component profile and the concentration are identical to WJ-150 at 150 mg/mL — what changes is the total tissue content and the volume, and therefore the reach of the matrix presence within the target tissue environment.
Expanded tissue environments. Largest volume in the series. Larger-volume placement contexts. Advanced structural support applications.

Platform Philosophy
Structure is not secondary to signalling.
It is the environment in which signalling becomes possible.
Wharton's jelly does not carry biological messages. It creates the architectural conditions in which those messages can be received. Within the RENOVÓ system, it is the foundation upon which all other biological communication rests.
